There comes a time when disillusionment can no longer be held at bay and reality must be confronted and the awesome blandness of mundaneity opens its seemingly all encompassing maw to completely engulf, surround, and blight all light and joy.

Realization of the pathetic futility, the utter despicableness of quixotic hope, the stark smallness of a life boiled down to its true essence.

When looking back and looking forward gives the same view, dust and ash, no accomplishment and no prospect, ineffectual and impotent. Nothing changes and no one cares, each stupid little ant moving its little piece of nothing back and forth while preening peacocks belch forth their inconsequentiality in all the latest flourescent flavors.

When hate and rage and love and kindness and purpose and meaning are found to come from the same glop of arid, oozing, putrid ephemerality.

Yes. That is today's lesson.

When looking back and forwards gave me the same view, I decided to loose weight. TEE HEE HEE.

Seriously, you are the master JEDI! Luke could have only wished to fling his CABER on his knees down the stairs! You shan't know how amazing you are, the real masters never do.

Succinct, yet it loses that nice flowery air of detached refinement that obviates any sense of responsibility.

Dude! I didn't realize you were still posting stuff here?!! You are way more literate than you let on. Seriously, it's been a while since I've read such inspirationally depressing stuff... I mean wow - let me know when the book comes out.
